Good Morning Folks, I have been sent the attached photograph. Unfortuntaley this is the best copy they have.
It is three brothers. The one in the centre I think is a policeman and the one on the right is obviously in the navy and I think I know who they both are. The name on the back suggests that the other one could be my partner's grandfather. Although the family are confusing, one brother called Henry preferred being called Harry while the grandfather's name was Alfred Harold and he went by Harold. We have found nothing to suggest that Henry / Harry was ever in the forces hence the family assumption that is must be Harold.
The photo must have been taken about the end of WWI given the ages of the other two. The trouble is that Harold only joined up at the end of the war when he was 18 and only got as far as Signal's School at Blandford Camp. That uniform, and perhaps the age, do not suggest a lad at signal's school. Any suggestions please on the uniform with jodphurs, spurs and a crop etc.
