Titus Powell

Hello everyone, i was wondering if anyone might able to assist me going backwards with my ancestor Titus Powell,

Titus was born C.1815 Location Unknown, he married Jane Rees (Widowed, Maiden Name Layent?) in Llanhilleth on the 15th Dec 1839

At some stage they settled in the Garndiffiath/Abersychan Area and had

James 1840-1893 Married Mary Dowding

Joseph 1842-? Possible marriage for 1866 in pontypool but cant find the name of who he married

Caroline 1845-1925 married George S Britton Moved to Allegheny, Pennsylvania

Two children were born before marriage, not sure if their from janes first marriage to evan rees

William C.1837
And Ann C.1835

Titus’s Father is given as William Powell on Marriage Reg,

Jane’s is William Lyent,

I’m hoping to find Titus’s Heritage and what happened to William, Ann and Joseph

Parents WILLIAM/ELIZABETH
Siblings;
Hannah 1820, buried 5 April 1822
Ann 1822, buried 1 May 1822

I see he was buried 10 Jan 1846 Abersychan age 31

1841 has a William Powell born c 1791 living in Allensmore, Herefordshire.
Wife Elizabeth, occp Ag Lab

1851 he is born c 1789 Madley, Herefordshire

Baptism above looks likely for Titus.

Not sure about Census for that William/Elizabeth as his parents though.

Unable to find Titus/Jane in 1841 Census.
