Actually the cemetery is in pretty poor condition which is a shame as the people buried there were the back bone to the town. I live in Charters Towers and if this is your family i am more than happy to go have a look for you.

Many thanks your very kind offer. I am assisting a friend with her family research. Her father, John (known as Jack) died when she was a teenager and Jack's father (James) died when he was 7 years of age. So she has no information on her paternal side. I am waiting for the arrival of the marriage certificate of James and Ellen Dalley, (Sydney 29 Dec 1885) to confirm that I am on the right DALLEY family line. Will be in touch, thank you. Bonnie.
