Strange 1911 census and missing person

I have a Daisy Amelia Batchelor marrying Charles Sennett in Southampton in 1912.  I am not particularly interested in them and was not doing a full tree but was just wondering what Daisy was doing for an occupation in 1911 before marriage - she was born in Southampton in 1893 mmn Smith - for completeness.

Could not find her on 1911 census.  Found births for some siblings, looked up some of them, could not find in census.
Her Father died in Southampton in 1909 and her mother, Harriet, married John William Cotton in 1910, Southampton.  John Cotton has also been married before.

In 1921 there are Batchelors and Cottons in the same household:

In 1911 the enumerator has just 3 people in the household in 2 rooms.  Not really room for all those extra ones. (In 1921 there are 10 people in 4 rooms).

Do not know who the unnamed Mother and Father are in 1911 but they are roughly the same age as the deceased spouses of Harriet and John would be.... And the children's ages do correspond approximately to the Batchelor children.

The workhouse in Southampton uses full names so don't think they are hiding there, and some would probably be out at work anyway.

It is Daisy that I want, but now annoyed that I cannot find any.  Hiding in full sight?  Suggestions as to what was going on...

What was given as her residence then?

Sorry, not got that certificate and unfortunately although Hampshire parish registers are on-line, Southampton's are not - or not with Ancestry.

Guess you have found Elsie in 1911 as a servant in a boarding house. 

I wonder if the Cotton 1911 is just the enumerators addings up at the top
