Hello Everyone, ran into a brick wall here Looking for the parents and family of Jane Lyent/Lient, she was born in 1808 in Bridgewater, Somerset, her father was William Lyent/Lient,

She moved to wales and married Evan rees in 1828 and than re-married to Titus Powell in 1839 in Llanhilleth, Wales
Jensen, Perry, Taylor, Waters, Foot, Andrews, Pilcher

Lyent - not a very common name.

There is a marriage in Huntspill Somerset for William Leyent and Ann Moore (Both OTP)
16 Oct 1803
Huntspill is about 5 miles from Bridgwater


There is a burial 7 September 1836 Huntspill, Somerset
William Lyent (age 57)

Regarding the name LEYENT ......
There is this interesting marriage in Huntspill
31 Mar 1766
John LYON (he signs "LEYENT") and Amy MARTIN

So was the name at one point LYON?
Or written "Leyent" but pronounced "Lyon" (like in French)?
