Morning folks
Here begineth a new week, how time is flying by.

Lousy morning, wet and  miserable,   hope it brightens up, no washing out today, knew I should have done it yesterday

Almost another week gone Viktoria,  your time will soon be up,  I  watched a programme last night with the operation the  same as yours, thought of you when the surgeon gave the chap the rules and regulations , so keep up the good work, won't be long.

Take care everyone.

LM

Oh, how I wish Viktoria would listen to the advice we all are offering her! As several of us have had similar procedures, we seem all to have been given more and better advice, and those responsible for us, given a lot more guidance than she and hers seem to have had.
Anyway, at least it's not pouring down today! I've just emerged more or less triumphant from a big bout of ironing, whew! Glad that's all done.

I have a very brief leaflet, saying no arm lifting, heavy carrying ,pushing or pulling for six weeks .
Nothing else really .
Well the big new bruise is just that seemingly ,it is because I am back on the strong blood thinning tablets,Apixiban and Clopidogrel which were stopped for a while prior to the pacemaker being fitted.
I really am just doing the minimum evening meals, washing up ,my bed tidied, a little light vacuuming with a little light vacuum ,just general tidying , loo and hand basin cleaned.I can’t think of less I can do. ;D
I don’t feel ill, just a bit tired.

But thanks for your concern .

All the apples off my little Bramley now.
Will freeze them cooked to a sauce ,in portions .

It is difficult though always bearing in mind no arm lifting or carrying ,pushing or pulling .
It will pass .Thousands have this done every year.
But you are all very kind.I appreciate it.

Daughter phones this evening ,Lily will be one in November.
I will send money and a baby proof book, get them started young!

Cheerio for now.
Viktoria.

Pleased to hear  you are taking things slowly Viktoria.
The year has gone quickly since  Lily was born.
Not a nice day, our local paper shop has stopped  delivering  papers, sounds as if it now out to a larger company, yesterday's paper usual time, today 5pm, who wants a daily paper at 5pm, young man assured  me it will  be earlier tomorrow, I do hope so, my husband will not go out early to the nearest paper shop, so today has been a peculiar  day,  he went to the gym for cardio,  came home, no paper, he has been backwards and forwards, looking out of the window, as if that makes the delivery quicker, he should have got on and done something else,  eventually he found a book to read, something he hasn't done for years, I just hope tomorrow's paper comes early, we have the first 3 weeks free due to the change, if we get a paper after noon I will cancel .

I do miss the daily paper.
My O.H. Liked our Manchester Guardian, on a par with The Times when it was privately owned ,a fiendish crossword he could do in half an hour ——- that really impressed me when we first met!
Sadly it is nothing like it was.

No deliveries - well no Newsagents ,papers on sale in the supermarkets nowadays.

Well Lily has made all the milestones for her age.
She is really delightful ,always smiling ,is standing up but not crawling ———-
Crawling is so important for so many things , I worked one to one with a little boy who had not crawled and he had difficulty with hand eye co ordination .
It had an unpleasant name ‘“ The clumsy child syndrome “ .
His Daddy fought tooth and nail to keep him in mainstream schooling .
He did pretty well and used to send me messages via his computer .

Well I think it will be The Fire Service alarms I will have ,the wired ones are very awkward to fit my sons say ,I expect they were wired in when access from the bedroom floor was available, done by the house renovators .
They ought to have been replaced in March but no info was left by the renovators so I had no idea about that.

Cold,dark,rainy here .

Telephone chat with Heart Failure Clinician on Thursday .
The big bruise is starting to fade a bit ,not painful .
I started the blood thinning  on Sunday 12 th,bruise on Sunday or Monday this week .I forget ——-
It will all be sorted .
Well hope all those with problems are coping and things are improving for them.
Thanks for your kindness . I would be lost without the contacts, laughs and family news you share .
Viktoria.

Our local newsagent went to one of those big delivery firms - it seemed as if it'd cost and arm and a leg, so I cancelled all papers except 2 local ones, and my Radio Times is already on a very reliable postal delivery.
I stroll up to the village on Friday, collect and pay for the two papers. Works fine.

During covid 1 of 4  neighbours collected papers except it was only 2 women  and 1 occasion man who collected,   my husband isn't prepared to go out each morning  to buy the paper for us and a neighbour, so I will have them delivered as long as I can.

This new delivery is costing us 20p more each week for delivery, sad thing is no youngsters want to deliver papers  like  we did as youngsters for what was a pittance.

Pleased everything us coming along nicely Viktoria   seems now check ups are mainly by phone.,

Neighbour across road pops their newspaper in our box when finished with it usually early morning, they don't do any of the puzzles so suits me as rest of paper is often just a flick through and perhaps an article or two that isn't free online. I also collect the paper and mail from next door when they are on fairly regular days away visiting family for a couple of nights at a time, then another neighbour along road takes all used newspapers to the Lions Club, along with any aluminium we accumulate  :)

Sounds like you're ticking along OK Viktoria with everything in check  ;) So much development in first year for babies, Lily sounds a delight  :)

We haven't heard from KG in a while, his surgery was scheduled early in the month so  :-\ and hope all good and recovering OK as doesn't appear to have logged into RC this month ...

All the best to all ...
