Elizabeth was the 2nd daughter of William Burn 1870-1931 and Agnes White Vallance 1874-1953, I found her and her sister Jane Marion Scott Burn born 1900, on the 1921 Census living at Forrest Hill, Edinburgh George Square as out of work rubber shoe makers. After that I can't find Elizabeth but Jane seems to have died in 1964 Edinburgh St Andrew?
Her brother William born 23 Sep 1898 married Helen MacKay Murray 8 Sep 1922 in Edinburgh, she died 9 Jun 1954 in Edinburgh Haymarket but I can't find his death?
The other sister Sarah born 1894 married John MacLean 15 Feb 1916 in Edinburgh, she died 4 May 1977 in Inverness as did John 19 Dec 1969.
I've searched the Scottish People website for these but to no avail.

Looking at the death for Jane Burn 1964 you mentioned I checked index on SP and found her death 1964 other name Fraser
Deceased online Jane Marion Scott Fraser death 8 August 1964 Midlothian
She can be found on the electoral rolls Leith Midlothian Mrs Jane M.S.B Fraser with James Fraser

The only marriage I could find SP was Marion Burns James Fraser 1922 George Square  might be worth viewing

Also this marriage Elizabeth Isabe Burns 1925 St Giles to William Docherty
There is a death for Elizabeth Isabe Docherty other name burns 1984 Morningside mothers name Mathew which is wrong which can happen if the person registering the death was unsure

I would take a chance on the marriage to see if it's her

Thank you rosie17, one was correct Jane Marion did marry James Fraser 1922 but the one for Elizabeth and Doherty was wrong, the marriage for that one showed mmn as Matthews.
