The National Library of Scotland and the Edinburgh Central Library have organised another Family History Fair & Conference in Edinburgh. This will take place at the Edinburgh Central Library, George Washington Browne Room, George IV Bridge, Edinburgh, on Friday 24th October, starting at 10am. As well as tables manned by various local organisations (including the Scottish Genealogy Society), there’s a programme of talks (all with a military theme):
- Hippo Lane and Sword beach - Historic maps of the World Wars
- Post War Edinburgh
- Research and records using the CWGC Archives
- Researching British Prisoners of War 1914-1919 and 1939-1946
