Very common surname.  Also - born 1944 so are they still alive?

If they were born on 2nd Feb - what is the reference to "published 3 Feb 1944"

Carlin (Ireland & Liverpool) Doughty & Wright (Liverpool) Dick & Park (Scotland & Liverpool)

Deceased. The family announced the birth on the 3rd. Image of the birth announcement would be useful to prove where the birth was.

If deceased - it's ok to show the name

Where was the birth announced - which newspaper?

I can’t see an announcement in FindMyPast newspapers. You have posted an address though, so what do you mean about proving where the birth was?

Wouldn't his birth cert give that info?

"Geoffrey William" might be easier. The way it might be written will mean that the address is proof that he was born there and not somewhere else that some people claimed he was born.

Yes but I'm not related so this would be a better way.
