Lingard death: newspaper announcement?
« on: Wednesday 15 October 25 07:23 BST (UK) »
My tree shows Blanche Lingard dying in Dublin on 12 Nov. 1934,
which agrees with the registration of her death given by irishgenealogy.ie
But Findagrave gives her death one year earlier.
Was there perhaps an announcement in the Irish Times?
Would some kind soul be prepared to look?

I can see a snippet from the Irish Times,  28 November 1934
“ Mr. Mark Lingard wishes to thank his many friends who so kindly sympathised with him in his recent sad bereavement.”

Thank you, Heywood.  I think that settles it.

Meant to add also, there was a death notice in "Irish Independent" on 13 November 1934

"LINGARD (Dublin) - November 12, 1934, Blanch, wife of Mark Lingard, 17 Herbert Street, and daughter of the late Captain Knox, Cahirleske, Co Kilkenny. Funeral private."
