No it does not prove she married. She may well have set up home with a Mr Hallam. I have 2 examples of females with name changes in 1939 who actually never married.

I think the two girls, born in 1966 and 1968 are the daughters of Annie Mary Glenn, and Alan Hallam....still no marriage ......yet......

For the other marriage FreeBMD has Hallam entered as HAL_AM, presumably because there is an unclear character in the index.

Well, after much searching, I still can't find the marriage for Alan Hallam and Annie Mary Glenn....maybe as suggested there wasn't one, and they probably just lived together as man and wife.....
