There is a tree on Ancestry which shows Martha was b 1719 to John & Martha Battles & married James Swinnerton on 30.6.1743 in Plymouth Massachusetts

No parentage shown for John Battles but this info

Born 17 April 1689. Died on 5 September 1746 in Plympton, Massachusetts, USA, at the age of 57.

You may want to take a look at the tree.  Some documents are attached to it

There should be a lot of records on this family, at least there usually are for the early families in Salem, Plymouth, etc. There are a lot of people descended from them. The information might not all be on ancestry or familysearch, but, somewhere out there, there probably is someone's personal website with what you are looking for.

Plus a lot of records might be online elsewhere, like the Plymouth Church records above.
There is a series of books titled Vital Records of [name the city], Massachusetts. Try to find them.

edited to add, here are Salem and Plymouth:

Googling Swinerton family history in America will find you stuff. Even the AI results might help.

Also try descendants of Job Swinnerton of Salem, Massachusetts, which took me to wikitree.

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Swinerton-4

Google AI summary:
Th e Swinnerton family history in America begins in the Massachusetts Bay Colony with early settlers like Job Swinnerton the Elder and John Swinnerton, who established a significant presence in the Salem area by the mid-17th century. Descendants spread throughout the colonies and later the United States, with notable family branches forming in areas such as Salem, Massachusetts and Oswestry, England. The Swinnerton Family Society continues to research and record the family's long history, which includes medieval origins in Staffordshire, England.
