Their wills are available on the NZ Archives site :

https://collections.archives.govt.nz/en/web/arena/search#/?q=gregerson

Both wills refer to " my son  - Gregerson ".

The earliest entry for Neils and Beatrice  on the Electoral Rolls that I can see is 1975 at 10 Royal Street Timaru. -The son Gregerson  is on the Rolls from 1966.

According to a family tree on Ancestry the son was born in 1942 and died in 2023 but there is no source to confirm. I've removed the forename in case he is alive.

Year 1965, born England with his wife on New Zealand Passenger List

The son appears on electoral rolls in NZ as a "Potter" and his wife as an "artist"

Last electoral roll I can find is 2010, and both are retired, living in Seadown (near Timaru).

Obituary for the son, in Timaru Herald on Oct. 16, 2023.

marriage Q2 1962 Folkestone
Michael S Gregerson
Elizabeth A Swash

I can’t find a birth record.

There is a tree on A*y with a photo of Michael Swan Gregerson, NZ. The tree suggests that his widow is still living. It has a birthdate for him of 8th August 1942, but no linked record.

Is it possible he is an adopted son?

I am elderly but my birth can be found on FreeBMD.

So if his does not show up then perhaps he was born under a different name.

Wow folks, I am amazed at what you have found, the Dover and Folkestone address is correct, I am going to do a bit more digging ΰnd see where it takes me.

I was unaware there was a son, perhaps adopted

Huge thanks for the info so far
