Hope that son welcomes you back with the best cup of tea in the world, and a tempting meal, then does the washing up, and plumps up the cushions for you - bother "his work", YOU need a bit of pampering at last, after so long of doing things for him and others!
Really hope it's all gone well, Viktoria.

Well your good wishes worked,a little discomfort during the procedure ,a few arm, neck and chest pains but they were quickly resolved, the surgeon kept counting ,matching up pairs of wires it seemed 1-1 2-2 3-3 etc .
Shoulder near neck sore but I can take a paracetamol .
So that is that .
Young chap who did my gardens years ago - well 2017 ,has been to make access from the scooter shed much easier for me.My sons did a ramp but the scooter is very heavy- a great big lithium battery to cope with the steep hill all the way up home from Ramsbottom ,that is behind you on a slope when on the present ramp to enter the shed ,it really feels it would topple over and
squash you ,the gradient is  too steep,  not safe .
Son did ask if I wanted a cup of tea but the nurse who kindly packed my bag  had left  out all my medications! The hospital had phoned and he was waiting for me to get home then he’d set off for them .His computer was playing up again so he had s “ window” .
My eldest son had phoned the hospital and when told I was on my way home but—- the medications, he set off for the hospital straight away so all was well .
Daughter phoned to see all was O.K.
So just six weeks of being careful re left arm and no heavy lifting etc
Hope all are safe and as well as can be given quite a few are being stoical about difficult conditions.
Thanks again and cheerio .Viktoria.

Wow Viktoria,  surprised you are home so soon, well done.
Please take care and let others do things for you even if your son arranges take aways for you just till you get acclimatised to taking it easy.

So glad everything went well for you today Viktoria.  Both your sons sound as if they were on the ball regarding your medication.

Now enjoy some time taking things easy.

With better access for your scooter I hope it won’t be too long before we hear about the escapades you get up to going out and about on it 💐

Welcome to the Pacemaker Club!  I'm glad to hear that you are safe and well and back home.  Now you really need to take care of yourself (and let others take care of you) for the next 6 weeks or so.  Then you will be able to do lots of things that you had previously found difficult and tiring.
Best wishes from a fellow Lancastrian far away from home.

So glad you've got through, and that it seems your offspring are looking after you - do make them understand you won't be trotting round after them for some time yet, if you are to recover properly. As Gillg says welcome to the club. Put your feet up, and family need to understand it's not just making a cup of tea, microwaving a takeaway and bringing your medication. YOU HAVE TO REST, AND FOLLOW MEDICAL ADVICE
