Very best wishes for your pacemaker fitting, Viktoria. But:
DON'T RUN ROUND DOING THINGS FOR OTHERS! Especially your son, as my Mum used to say "He's big enough, old enough and daft enough..."
You need to follow instructions, take it easy, and gradually build back to your busy normal self. A set-back in the early days can be nasty.
Others on here will agree with me.
We're all thinking of you. Hope your keyboard fingers keep their suppleness!

Best regards for your PM procedure. Mine went fine but do take care with the "movement" instructions for your arm. You will have to adapt certain methods for dressing initially so that you do not put a strain on the implant. rj

Viktoria
I hope you have lots of clothes that button or zip down the front!  I had to go to charity shops to find blouses and so on, as most of my tops were pull over the head type.

Take it easy.  I know you do a lot for other people.  Now it's their turn to help you until you are well enough to return to your usual busy schedule.  We have just been abroad for a holiday, our first since the pacemaker procedure.  All went well, though people do look at you in a rather sympathetic way when they find out about the pacemaker.  They are surprised at how well you are, as they have probably been thinking that you could collapse at any moment.

Good advice  for Viktoria,  I am sure she will be sensible and adhere to the instructions.
I remember when I had my hip replacement  patients had to dress everyday, not sit around  in night attire, so I  wore elastic waisted skirts,    made life so much easier till I could manage trousers.
Thinking of you Viktoria

What strange weather,  Monday was such a lovely  day, sun out and I thought warmer out than in, today once again cold and dull, but I suppose it should be expect although we have had really nice October days in the past.

Thinking of you Viktoria

Well folks, all ready ,sitting waiting for transport and the last drink of the many you have to have up to seven o’clock prior to the procedure .
I Son would have taken me and brought me back but I have had transport for a while before when I was having a lot of eye treatment and so many drops at the eye clinic I couldn’t see clearly and the journey to Rochdale is two buses and so was advised to get transport as it was not safe.
Son is not always able to do it for me ,he is working from home so not always free  and you can’t chop and change.
So I am grateful for the transport service.

I wonder now if this had been done sooner I might not have needed the mobility scooter!

Still dark outside and quiet.
Many thanks for your kind wishes ,I appreciate them very much.
Daughter has just phoned to wish me well .
So thanks again and I will be in touch .
Cheerio. Viktoria.
