Morning  folks, here we are starting a new week.

Very cold, sun seems to have gone behind a cloud at the moment, yesterday was cold and very blustery, we don't seem to have been to badly affected by the storm,    seemed to have missed us, think we had the tail end wind of it.

Viktoria, can't remember the date of your procedure but if this week hope all goes well.

Bad nights sleep so I put my time to good use I thought,  was asked by a family member family history questions  so spent 2   hours searching , still couldn't sleep when I went back to sleep, wasn't the right thing to do in the early hours .

Keep warm and hope people feeling a bit down will feel brighter

You are bright and early today LM. Sorry you had a bad night, I slept unusually well and only went to the bathroom once then straight back to sleep.

It’s a lovely sunny morning here and the forecast is good  for the week so 🤞 I hope everyone has had a good and trouble free weekend.

Really could do with being able to washing today! Got a huge basket ready, as weather been so odd, and life so hassle-ey for past week or so. Come on sun, despite the forecast, pop out for a few hours......

A dull day here and cool.
Done my ironing.
A phone call from the  young man who did both my gardens ,he is sorting out the ramp to give me safe and easy access to the side lane ,when I pluck up courage to venture out on the mobility scooter .
I truly think had the pacemaker been fitted sooner I might not have had to get the scooter  >:(
The pacemaker on Thursday ( thanks L.M.)so trying to get heavy things done now as six weeks with limited L arm movements will be a bit of a handicap.
It will pass.

Many many people get through it don’t they, some who post on RootsChat who have managed very well .

A sausage ,bacon ,egg ,baked beans artery clogging meal tonight folks, my son is as thin as a “lat” as used hereabouts to mean a thin flat narrow piece of wood such as was used in lath and  plaster walls - ie very slender.
He has inherited his height from my two grandads ,my OH and his father were not  tall .

Well things to do and a very early start on Thursday  ,all packed up and ready.
Will wash my hair tomorrow,,then not sure how I will manage after that but I can imagine I will be able to raise my forearm as long as my elbow us still no higher than my shoulder ,thank goodness my hair is very short .

It seems strange to read of Spring - in the antipodes - or the ante podes as my sister used to say when young.
Two of her chiildren ( well sadly there were two but now only one ) emigrated, to N,S,W. Where our ancestors went to the gold fields of Bathurst and Sofala in the 1850’s gold rush, from Lincolnshire.
Well time for a cup of tea .
Look after yourselves folks .
Viktoria.

Viktoria,  you must not push the boundaries  until you are allowed, just do what you are allowed and leave the rest, it doesn't  matter does it?, it will get done in time, hopefully your son can help you out, I mean it kindly.

My husband 5ft 11 ish has become a been pole recently,  me, well I am mortified , my scales must be wrong, so, immediate cut down,  I must act at once, I seldom eat potatoes  but I do have a choc ice  every day, surely that isn't the reason!!

Not been a bad day today, brightened up pm which was a shame as I missed my washing slot to get it dry outside.

I have had a huge amount of help with my Gregerson surname after I asked for help on the Kent site, fantastic help
Take care everyone

Getting back to some kind of normality after spending a week in Germany, where we had warm sunny weather and far too much cake!  Returning last Saturday night on the ferry we encountered the storm, but it just rocked us to sleep on the boat.

Viktoria
Best of luck with your operation.  You may well need help at first, but the six weeks will soon pass and you will be able to raise your left arm again.  I hope your freezer is full of ready meals and that you will have help from family members and friends where required.

Expecting a lovely day tomorrow, we had a glorious sunset this evening, everything in the house turned pink, it was quite strange.

Good luck for Thursday Viktoria, take it easy and don’t get impatient and rush to do things afterwards, the weeks  will pass very quickly. Everyone I know who has had the same procedure has been fine.

best wishes from me too Viktoria.

Yesterday was very windy .  Offspring visited and when I went to the front door to see them off I was so surprised to see the path was ankle deep in green leaves from local trees, which showed how vicious the wind had been.

I used to have a steady weight but a switch seems to have been turned on and I'm grazing far too much on anything I see in the kitchen.  My forearms are still slim but my so called "bat wings" are definitely too heavy to lift a bat  :D :D
