I wonder if this is the family from Kilnaleck as Roseanne could well be her. my friend has just message saying  she thinks the father was called Patrick but is going to purchase a marriage cert and the mother was Mary and died tragically before his dad and he was left a widoweralso Charles Brady  could have left home potato picking maybe that's why he wasn't on the 1911 Census
Thankyou

I think you can't go by what your friend has 'remembered' to trace Charles Brady. So far they seem to have claimed he was born on a certain date in 1898 (based on death index perhaps?), a younger sister 'Rosaleen' (I have failed, so far, to find a her in census records or suitable match on Irish Genealogy for her death (or birth) using Ros* as the first name) and now a father called 'Patrick' which is a totally different family than the Charles born in 1898.

Usually one would work back through available records but since the death isn't quite clear-cut it might be better to start with Charles' marriage- if name of wife is already known- to see father's name and occupation.

Hi yes I totally agree there's no record of Charles  sister Rosaleen I have told my friend she needs her Grandparents Winifred Wallace  Charles Brady  marriage certificate as the only information is Charles living in Newcastle in 1939 Census was born April 13 1898 but his family said it was April 2nd 1898  and his Death was 1980 and is buried in Elswick cemetery my Grandad was at his funeral but his past  Born and living in Cavan with his family is a mystery that cannot be solved until she gets this information
Thanking you Kindly

Note that it was a general register in 1939, not a census.
