Unbelievable we are now on to October diary.

Misty this morning but the sun has burnt it away,  jolly cold but it looks to be a nice day, so far

I was out everyday last week,  must pull my socks up and get stuck in, sometimes it goes like that and I have weeks where I am in all  time, I do not want another week like last week but must admit to be due out tomorrow  for the day meeting  an old friend..

Another first that I didn't want! Got to go and get a new tyre fitted, red warning light re: pressure, and very recent MOT warned tyre wall cracking up (sounds like me!) How many new things to try and do I seem to meet each day now.

I find the modern technology makes life complicated ,new bank card so Tesco not accepting the three digit code—- they did last time, after hours on the phone it is Lloyd’s Bank who have messed up !
Sorted now but what a waste time , literally hours!

There was notification re discussing medical matters in our posts, ,so I would like to,” speak “     to the RootsChatter who has had a pacemaker recently.
I have tried trawling through posts but not found their relevant post.
I would appreciate a P.M , just a few points I would like to be certain about.

Hope all are at least warm and comfortable,given some serious health issues that is all many can expect .
A dull wet day here and I must get on, big jobs I won’t be able to manage for the six weeks of not lifting my left arm above shoulder height .

I recently noticed that the three digits security code had worn away on my card. I phoned the number on the back of the card and spent a good 20 minutes trying to get it replaced. I was given all sorts of options but none of them were particularly relevant. In the end I went round the whole circuit of choices a second time and just said that my card was damaged, which was technically untrue but eventually I was promised a new card which duly arrived. I was particularly frustrated when asked to say briefly what is the problem. In the end I just said help hell help and eventually I got through to a real person.

I really do feel that so many businesses are relying on poorly constructed, ill conceived automated systems that are alienating customers just as much as those horrendous overseas customer service facilities of 10 years ago.

Somehow I stupidly  misslaid my credit card,  discovered it on Satuday,  used it Thursday,   seen no more, 10 mins,  still not spoke to a human being,  finally she couldn't hear me she said, second attempt took me a long time, talking  about jumping through hoops, not as agile as I used to be!!,  I know they need to check security but if you don't have the card to hand you don't have all the details, do you?

What was puzzling was that my new card had been accepted twice before, then refused so my son paid with his .
Then again this week my three digit security number was refused .
I contacted my bank and after hours it transpired that the trouble was at the bank’s end .Eventually sorted but it took hours!
At times like that I would turn turn the clock back if I could!

£375 for  two fillings and a “ sealing off” of a pulp cavity left after a tooth was shattered by a very very very very hard cube of dried fruit in Granola.
However the tooth must come out as the root is split ,so some time off blood thinners when it will be safe to do that.
Oh I don’t know how I stand the excitement !
I must go, just remembered mustn’t post about medical matters , but hopefully this post is not too graphic .
When you are old( cue sad music—- ) your health assumes the main topic in your conversation as not much else happens .
I need tranquillisers to cope with the excitement of hospitalvisits!
