Thank you everyone for all your help but he has now been found on the 1918 AVL by a member of the Great War Forum. By that time he was in the 19th btn. Welsh Regiment.

He appears to have Enlisted in June 1915 into the Royal Welsh Fusiliers as Pte 32107 aged 17 having lied about his Real Age Birthdate had his Portrait Photograph taken - and later Transferred to the Welsh Regt before he went Overseas in December 1915 with the Welsh Regt
So his Medals Pip Squeak and Wilfred are all under 19th Welsh Regt
He was Discharged in January 1919

I think the cap badge is the RWF and not the NF.

Agreed -
Questions I asked on this Forum Barb didn't answer
But the Researchers on the Great War Forum did get those answers out of her.
After debating the Difference in Fusiliers Grenade Badge and solving it.
Between both Forums our Opinions and knowledge achieved successfully a result for Barb with lots of information about Thomas and his Regts
A Great Challenge and a Great Success

Do you know his whereabouts 1921 to 1939  ?
You stated you had Records about him after his 1921 Marriage to Ethel
......

I came to this forum merely looking for help in identifying a uniform.  This is definitely my grandfather.

I am glad you found some more detail and that the information has been helpful.

Possibly I am not alone in finding your response above rather ungracious.

Researchers here 'go round the traps' as they say trying to get information to flesh out an enquiry. Our aim is to see if the information can be searched for in records they have access to, or in records that they may be experienced in searching.

So all information is useful information and no question from you, or a researcher to you is an odd  question.

So please don't be harsh on people who are researching and do find information that they think you might be interested in.  :)

I apologise for my terse reply.  I was annoyed at the speculation over the veracity of the photo and it not being my grandfather is my only excuse, sorry.

Years ago I was a moderator on a
genealogy forum so I do know how much research and time can be spent on helping someone.

I will be clearer on future posts.

I have subscriptions to both Ancestry and FindMyPast but can't find this so I'm probably looking in the wrong place.  I wanted to add it to his records.

Do you have a link please or is it from a private collection?
