The "Thos S Dickinson, labourer" sailed 28 Apr 1811 can be discounted.
FindMyPast Passenger Lists, under ticket Number 29243 has the departure of -
"T S Dickinson, Auctioneer" sailing on the Megantic from Liverpool to Montreal, 27 May 1911. No age given.
The occupation is a nice fit with Septimus' occupation on the 1911 Southport Census.
Archives Canada under ticket number 29243 has the arrival at Quebec City of -
"Thos S Dickinson, age 21, Estate Agent, destination Montreal".

(NOTE - confirmed another passenger by ticket number who sailed on the Megantic but arrived on the Virginian at Quebec City)
