Another brother Robert Dickinson passed away in 1943 - only immediate family mentioned.

For information purposes, it appears Thomas S Dickinson played for Preston FC in 1910/1911  (1 season)

I would like to thank everyone for their help.  I'm now wondering why there appears to be no death record for Thomas Septimus, why there was no mention of him in his brothers obituary, but his brothers in England were mentioned

I think the reason the two brothers were mentioned in Alan's obituary was that they were still alive. Christopher dying in 1968 and Wilfred in 1969

Canada has no BMD index as you do in the UK. Canada also has very strict privacy laws which can make it difficult to trace unless we can find newspaper reports , obituaries etc.,
The obit of Alan Rimmer Dickinson shows that either they had no contact or Thomas had passed before 1964.
The anc trees seem to be getting mixed up and are referring to a different Thomas S Dickinson.
