Help please!
I'm trying to confirm the parents of Mary Kemp. She baptises a son, William, at Besthorpe, Norfolk in 1820 as a singlewoman so I think it's a good chance she is the Mary Kemp, baptised 27.7.1800 at Besthorpe, parents Robert and Susannah Kemp.
However, I can't find another Susannah baptism, nor a marriage. In the same church a Robert Kemp baptises a William in 1802, mother Hannah - haven't found another Hannah baptism or a marriage.
In 1805 a Sarah Kemp is baptised in that same church by a Robert Kemp and Frances. I found a marriage of a Robert Kemp to a Frances Neave in Bunwell in 1794.
There is a marriage between Robert Kemp and Susan Raynes in 1802 in Carleton Rodes and I've found 9 baptisms at that church from 1803 onwards.
I suppose it's very likely that Susan and Susannah are the same person, and Mary arrived before a wedding but how do I prove it? And how to explain the other Robert/Besthorpe baptisms?
Any thoughts very welcome. Better still, any info that makes it all clear
