Paper trail genealogy is not my strength so I am using information handed on by other people. Charles Laws wife would be my direct maternal ancestor, 6 generations, thus my mtDNA ancestor. The people you mention are much later than those I am looking for, but their location means they are likely to be related.

By 1866 my branch of the Moore family had moved to Australia.

If Mary Laws was born 7 November 1793 she would have been 28-29 years old when she married.

William More/Moore. 16 July 1822.

Children found so far

1822- 1826  ?
Francis  circa 1826 (from 1841 census)
Eleanor 1827 bap. at Congham
Mary  (1841 census) shows as Ann on bap. record.
William 1831
James 1833
Mirius 1835  (Maurice)  this one goes to Australia**
Sarah Laws 1838
Frances Laws 1840    (reg. Freebridge Lynn 1840 mother's maiden name Laws.)

------------------------
1841 census listed as Maurice age 5 with family in Castle Rising

1851 Census  Moris Moor is 15 and a servant in Kings Lynn.

I assure you they are not the "older generation"

Marius married Alice and his father William paid his passage to Australia

Marriage at Norwich, St Gorges Colegate by Banns called 5 Aug 1810 Charles LAWES of this parish Widower & Ann FLOWERS of the same parish Widow were married  married 23 Aug 1810, Bride and groom marked. Witnesses : John HEAD (marked) John LACCOHCE? (signed).

However the OP seems to be after after the mother of Mary MOORE (nee LAWS?) who he she says was born in East Winch 7 Nov 1793 and maybe married William MOORE at Congham 15 July 1822. East Winch is near Kings Lynn and a long way from Norwich. Ditto Congham.

Marriage by banns at Congham  William MOORE bachelor of Congham & Mary LAWS spinster  of Snettisham, 16 July 1822. Groom Signed. Witnesses Francis MOORE and Elizabeth MOORE (both marked).

Baptism at Sedgeford 6 Oct 1793 Mary LAWS (born 1 Apr 1793) Daur of William and Elizabeth LAWS.
Baptism at South Lynn 8 Apr 1793 Mary LAWS daur of Thomas and Hannah LAWS
Baptism at Sedgeford 1 Jul 1799 Maria LAWS (born 12 Feb 1799 Daur of William and Elizabeth LAWS (late HENDRY)
and there may be others.

1841 census has Mary MOORE in Congham as age 40 so born between 1796 and 1800.  Seems like the idea that Mary LAWS father was called Charles is wrong.
The second son to William and Mary MOORE was called William which means a fair chance that Mary’s dad was called William.

GRO index shows the birth of Frances who was age 6 months in 1941
Birth q3 1840 Frances MOORE mmn LAWS Freebridge Lynn district 13 131.

A Death q1 1853 Mary MOORE age 57 Freebridge Lynn 4b 273. (so born about 1796)
However Mary MOORE age 64 born in East Winch is still with her family in he 1861 census for Roydon.

Baptism at East WINCH 21 Aug 1797 Mary daur Griffin and Sarah LAWS
BT - Baptism at East Winch 21 Aug 1797 Mary daur Thomas and Sarah LAWS

Baptism at East Winch 2 Nov 1809 Griffin son of Griffin and Sarah LAWS.

Burial at East Winch in 1832 of a Griffin LAWS born about 1771.

Baptism 1773 at Little Dunham Norfolk Griffen LARS son of Mary LARS. The image is very poor but I think thats likely LAWS.

However I cannot find a marriage for Griffin and Sarah so do not know her surname.
