Can anyone help?
WILLIAM FRANCIS RUSSELL CALLAGHAN (or O'Callaghan) died on 18 Nov 1917 after serving with the Royal Navy. Aged 40, he died at Cloyne where his mother, Margaret, lived at The Square.
William's death was attributable, in part or in whole, to his wartime experiences. He was
entitled to a War Grave but, like many others, was missed out when the post-war memorials were prepared.
He is still eligible to be remembered in this fashion - if proof of burial can be established.
Does anyone know where William is buried? Any pieces of evidence - death notices, notice of funeral arrangements, obituaries, family records - would be very gratefully received.
Thank you.
