St John, Tibshelf - Bingham
« on: Friday 19 September 25 14:00 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to confirm the parents of Francis Bingham born about 1734 I believe in Tibshelf.  I can't finf any Baptism records for Francis or any siblings.  I'm pretty sure Francis Bingham born 1711 in Tibshelf is the father but his mother is unknown.

Otter, Nicholson, Bellamy, Newsom, Ainger, Brown, Bell, Baines, Whitworth, Sindal, South, Ogden, Merrills, Bartrop, Cougill, Jackson

Do you know that your Francis was definitely born in tibshelf?
There's a Francis Bingham baptised 3 Feb 1735 in Tibshelf. Jonathan Bingham and Elizabeth parents.

Edited: oops ... That's the female Frances that Rosie was talking about 🙄

No, I'm not sure he was born in Tibshelf.  I hoped I could track him down to confirm who he farther was.

He married Hannah Boultby in 1760 at Blackwell by Alfreton, Derbyshire.  She is from Blackwell but I couldn't find any Bingham's there.  The reason I thought he might be from Tibshelf is because I found other Bingham's living there.

Francis/Hannah did bapt a Son Jonathan 16 Sep 1764 and an Elizabeth 10 May 1761.
8 children 1761-1780 bapt St Werburgh, Blackwell by Alfreton.

ELIZABETH, Wife of Jonathan Bingham was buried same Church 13 Sep 1771.

Seems a bit of a coincidence to me?

HANNAH Wife of Francis buried 4 Mar 1795 and FRANCIS 7 May 1819 age 85
