Very poor image, but it may be the collar badge depicting the King's (Liverpool) Regiment

There is a Facebook group for the King's Liverpool Regiment as this may be the correct uniform as suggested by AllanUK.  The owners have extensive knowledge and personal memorabilia of the KLR.

He is not in the Kings but the Fife and Forfar Yeomanry

The badge is of the Thane in armour on a horse.

Hi Allan
I don’t have very much information about this fellow.
He’s my wife’s uncle. He was born in 1919 in Glasgow.
This is as much as I know….
Thanks for your help.

His uniform is pre 1940 as it was replaced by battledress.  As a Fife and Forfar Yeoman he was in a Scottish Territorial Army unit which ties in with his birthplace.  The clothing and haircut match the 1930s.  Have you tried to find them on the 1939 register?

Hi Allan
Is the 1939 register not just for England?
Thanks
