Please could you share your thoughts on this photo - the date, clothes/hair, etc.?
We think it may be Florence Pitter (my Great Grandmother) sitting down. We don't know who the other person is. She had no sisters but did grow up with various cousins, so perhaps it's one of them. Or maybe it could be who she worked for? She went into service at a young age and worked for a Russian family in London.
Florence was born in 1898. Does this match the style and date of the photo?
The reverse of the photo is a postcard with "Butlers' Popular Day and Electric Light Studios".
