You will need to order their death certificates to find the causes of death. Only if there was something like an accident is there likely to be anything reported in the newspaper.

Did the family live in Beaminster?

Only James death seems to be registered here in 1907.

FreeBMD:

Deaths Mar 1907   (>99%)
Hill    James    61    Beaminster    5a   271

If you know where Thomas died (in England and Wales?), their death certs could be purchased from the GRO as Digital Images for £3 each.

I didn’t bother posting that as it doesn’t answer the OP’s question as to whether the brothers Deaths were  connected.

There is no Thomas Hill b 1847 living in Dorset on the 1901 census.  There is a Thomas Hill b 1836 Beaminster on both 1901 & 1911 censuses?

Where did you get the info from that Thomas had died in 1907?

A Thomas Hill b 1847 Beaminster (1891 census) died 1893 Bridport

Are you sure you have the correct family?

The 1851 census for James & Susan Hill in Dorset shows son James was b 1837 - not 1848

There is no son Thomas in 1851 but in 1841 James & Susan have a son Thomas aged 16

If your dates are right Susan would have been quite old for giving birth to those boys
