Searching for John & Thomas Kennedy (siblings of Peter Kennedy, born Balyna 1802

Hi all,

I’m researching Peter Kennedy (baptised Oct 1802, Balyna, County Kildare), son of John (Jack) Kennedy and Elizabeth (Betty) Hannan. I’ve found several siblings in Balyna baptisms:

Patrick Kennedy, 24 Mar 1786

Laurence Kennedy, 29 Apr 1788

Bridget Kennedy, 26 Sep 1790

Mary Kennedy, 25 Mar 1793

John Kennedy, 24 Jun 1795

Thomas Kennedy, 11 Jun 1798

I believe John Kennedy (b.1795) later was a shipwright in Ayrshire, Scotland, and Thomas may have migrated too.

If anyone has census, marriage, death or local directory records for John Kennedy, born ~1795 Ireland or Thomas Kennedy, born 1798, particularly in Ayrshire or surrounding areas, I’d be grateful to see them.

Also, if you know of any leads in RootsChat threads or parish register transcription collections, I’d love to connect.

Thank you for your reply. I'd be interested in John Kennedy born in 1794 in Ayrshire. Could you point me in the direction where you found this information? Especially if he was a shipwright. The link you have posted is where I found their baptisms .
