the only death I can find that might be the above is Edward Scott aged 32 death recorded Morpeth December 1874 ,

Unfortunately the whereabouts of Edward/Edwin is a mystery.

His name isn’t very consistent, and then in one of the children’s births he appears as Edwin Arthur Shott instead. Sometimes as Stott too.

There was no marriage for him and Emily either.

Rosa Emily Margaret b. 9 March 1870, 9 Compton Street Paddington. Died 12 Aug 1871 Bedlington Colliery, informant Edward Shott

Emma Flora b. 26 September 1871 Sleekburn Colliery

Edwin Arthur b. 19 April 1874 32 Watson Terrace Newcastle. Father Edwin Arthur Shott (drapers traveller). Mother Emily informant.

Emily Rosa b. 30 April 1877 59 Frank Street Gateshead. Mother Emily informant.

I am very intrigued by that burial. Although Emily Rosa was born 1877 I suppose anything is possible 

I wonder if the family lived in Morpeth for a bit. There’s advertisements from June 1870 for a Mrs Shott dressmaker, and Emily was a dressmaker in the 1871 census.
