James Ritchie Johnston was born Nov 26, 1895 in Manitoba, Canada, to Andrew B. Johnston and Julia Ann Hall. He was possibly alive until 1921 when there is a Ritchie Johnston in the Brandon Mental Hospital, although the age of 26 is wrong. He could have died Dec 30, 1922 in Brandon.
Can anyone find his death? Thank you.
There is another James R. Johnston, born 1893, who died in 1986 in Manitoba, married to Mary A. Johnston who died 1960 in Manitoba according to findagrave.

Actually the age of 26 for Ritchie Johnston would be correct for our Ritchie/Richie in 1921.

Sorry this does not completely answer your question.

The obituary for Andrew Johnston who passed in 1933 would indict that James or Ritchie had passed away, any way sadly there is no mention of him

Very much looks like the entry on the Manitoba Death Index is probably him.
Couldn't see a death notice in December 1922 or early 1923    Maybe
some one else will come up with one.
