They don't appear to have formally married.

Leonard Russell is received into the church 16 September 1894 son of Kate Russell
notation says baptised at the Union (work house)

Cornish William Stratton was bap. also on 16 September 1894

All the other children were baptised as of William and Kate Stratton so the vicar must have thought they were married.
He doesn't put of William Stratton and Kate Russell.

i have no docs confirming a marriage. Going by previous posts looks it was an assumption by Ancestry. Thaks.
