Death? Marriage? Anything?

Born: 26 Jan 1907 to Richard & Clara Agnes (neé ALKER), Baptism: 17 Feb 1907 in Ince, Lancashire, England.
In 1911 family were still in Ince but in 1921 family were at 1 Handley St, Horden, Co. Durham (RG15/24675/195)

That's all I have.
He had 3 sisters and a brother, I have all their BMD etc. but not his.

I know tracing him is likely to be near impossible with such a common name but any and all help/advice will be much appreciated.

There's a George Berry in Gateshead in the 1939 Register. Born 20 January 1907. With a (presumed) wife Ada Emily. Chief Analytical Chemist at a group of collieries.

Possibly the same George Berry death registration 1987 Northumberland ref 1 2024 dob 20 Jan 1907.

Also looks as if father Richard left a will in 1953 maybe worth a punt at £1:50 to see if George is mentioned.

Possible marriage: George Berry to Ada Emily Shreeve in 1935, in Newcastle.

I think that marriage is correct Shaun as Minnie Shreeve is also with them in 1939. Unfortunately can’t see an image or any further details of marriage online to confirm fathers.

That answers my question about possible follow up sources for transcriptions in Tyneside. Oh well if it was easy it wouldn't be as addictive would it?

Found this for Richard’s death, posting in case you have not seen it before.  As one son appears to have sadly died in the war it would seem to suggest George was still alive when his father died, backed up by being mentioned in his Will.

Yes his youngest son Sgt. Richard Alan BERRY RAF(V.R.) was killed over Europe in 1941.
