How to contact an Ancestry member

hi all . I need help regarding the Hints section on the Ancestry site please. I noticed that in the hints section someone had submitted a relatives photo . Unfortunately i am not subscribed so cannot contact this person . "Is there another way I do this?". Thank you .

To contact members, you need to be a member yourself.
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

I just found out from ancestry that apparently "You have disabled messaging"
I'm sure I never did! Perhaps it explains why I have had no messages for yonks. Or perhaps no one wants to talk to me!

Anyway, having fixed that, I can receive messages again.
I have just successfully messaged someone. I am currently just a free member of ancestry, not a subscriber. So it can be done!

I need help regarding the Hints section on the Ancestry site please. I noticed that in the hints section someone had submitted a relatives photo

You must be at least a free member to have hints?

That doesn't help you contact a tree owner via a hint though.
You have the name of the tree - but not the tree owner's name!

Is it possible to contact a tree owner using the free access at the local library but give them your email address to reply to you?
