A fairly quiet week on here, just turning to page 2, all have plenty to be going on with or on mind by sounds of things.

Good news re travel insurance Gillg and travel plans. Daughter has been sorting insurance today for her new property, quite a lot they 'need' to know but has successfully gone with company she insures her car with and with what past owners had it insured with, settlement day will be in school holidays with term 3 coming to a close end of next week. Busy also with school and organising the concert etc etc. A lot of absenteeism this term with winter illnesses, including herself as a teacher and own children with flu and her youngest suffers croup, middle one asthma and eldest hayfever! just to add to mix of everything in her busy days.

Oh dear re tooth damage Viktoria, I started to avoid a cereal I quite liked because of over hard dried fruit so can understand how that could break teeth, that will be rather hard on the wallet too! I tend to stick to my usual simple bircher cereal now, oats soaked overnight and apple and plain yoghurt.

All the best for the various procedures being waited on and a good outcome.

Cheers again for another weekend ... our daylight saving starts up again in just a couple of weeks !

I had a hip replacement  some 19 years ago,  if you do as you are told regards exercises Jeff you will be fine,  sure you will.

Mare, I might try your breakfast recipe,  sounds something different from my usual.

Nice sunny day but it is breezy and chilly, sort of day I would like to be beside the seaside, you know how the song goes.

Well our new fund raising  committee is now planning  the Christmas bazaar, never ends, this one should be a cracker!!, bazaar followed by lighting the Christmas tree  with carols and mulled wine, our problem is manpower.

Viktoria, you are such a busy woman,

Take care  everyone

Love the outfit  - what fabulous legs she had!  Perfect for a mini dress.  That's a beautiful photo, Jeff, with lovely memories for you.

Well, autumn has arrived and I'm wearing warm clothing now and thinking about putting on the central heating already.  We've had plenty of rain, heavy at times, and it's very windy, too.  A busy time to come before we go away.  Hair cut this week and manicure next week, courtesy of a voucher from my daughter.  What they will make of my poor nails, I can't think, when they are used to doing fancy stick-on nails and colouring.  I'll just be looking for a nice shape and a pale shade of varnish.

Friends from our previous home town have invited themselves to lunch next week, so I'm pondering over what to make for them.  It will be something simple, that's for sure, but I know they are big meat eaters and we aren't. And I shall have to make a pudding of some sort, but that will be cold and made in advance, I think, though I would like to make something with those lovely plums that are around at the moment.

Keep well and warm, folks. We have winter ahead of us. :)
