Arthur T (Thos) (Thomas) Denton Brick Wall

I have the above mentioned in the family of Arthur John Denton on 1901 census with a birthdate of 1895 Kingsland Middlesex and described as son.

Arthur John Denton married Esther Cuthbert 1899 Poplar London

I cannot find a birth registration for Arthur T despite using various spellings etc. I have discounted the 1897 Kensington birth as it is a different family.

My suspicion is that he is the son of  Arthur John's sister Charlotte who had 2 other children prior  to her marriage to Arthur Primmeth 1903, both in Arthur's household in 1911 as Denton stepchildren

Dorothy Denton registered under mothers maiden name of Denton 1900

Ivy Denton registered under mothers maiden name of Elliss 1902

(Elliss is the maiden name of  Charlotte's mother Emma, I think it unlikely Emma at 61 was the mother)

Perhaps there is no registration or baptism, but any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you notice that on the 1911 census, Arthur (senior) records that he and Esther had been married for 18 years?

I think this is may be the birth of the Denton's second child with maiden name listed as Cuthbert

There is something odd about this birth though.
I cannot find a Beach Cuthbert marriage.
Nor any other Cuthbert/Beach births

Denton Cuthbert image is on ancestry.  Esther is a spinster.

Yes - Rosie got the right person - Mother Edith Cuthbert formerly Beach - French Polisher

Father listed as Arthur Cuthbert -French Polisher

Per the 1911 census, Arthur & Esther were married 18 years, had 4 children of which two were still living. We know about Arthur Thomas and Edith - who were the other two children?

Oddly, that 4-2-2 entry after Arthur's name has been crossed through and entered below against Esther's name.

Shaunj, I had missed that, perhaps they had a common law relationship until the official marriage??
still doesn't explain the lack of registration though still trying to resolve the other 2 children more delving 

Rosie99 & Kay99, Arthur Cuthbert is possibly Esther's brother b.1866 to Edward & Elizabeth Cuthbert Bethnal Green as listed on the 1881 Census, the french polishing is an interesting link as that trade follows through the whole Denton line

I should have said that the birth date listed on Arthur Thomas Cuthbert's birth cert is 28 May 1894 which ties in well with an Arthur T Denton with the same birth date on the 1939 Register who was lodging at Weybridge, Surrey
