Sorry about that L.M.
Is he on blood thinners?
It won’t be underactive thyroid as many gain weight with that but you are very cold always.
However an overactive thyroid usually means weight loss but the throat is swollen ie a goitre.
Anaemia.oh
Diabetes comes to mind .
It is a worry though ,especially when they won’t  see a Dr.
Can you speak with your Dr, who may invite him for a “ routine check up” ——-
I had to do that when I suspected prostate problems ,I had gone and he came with me ,came in with me so I casually said  that my husband  had not hsd his PSA levels checked ,” Oh we can do that now” a simple blood sample and a week later the result was all clear .
He was fuming when he knew what it was for but as his two brothers had that problem- one died of neglected prostate cancer - I said “ Well someone needs to be aware of it and with your head in the sand it is up to me!”
He calmed down eventually.
Imagine if men had babies!—- the ante natal clinics would be empty and there would be many more one child families!
“ I am NOT going through THAT again!
They  would have a lot of “ headaches “!

Look after yourselves folks especially you K G , hope all goes well.

Cheerio folks.
Viktoria.

Well bushinn after 61 years I am used to his stubbornness , he is a big boy now?

Yes V   he is on blood thinners, unfortunately  we don't belong to the same Dr surgeries,  I am temped to write, he looks as if he is suffering from malnutrition  to be honest, he needs being looked at.

Good luck  KG

Blood sugar and Hypoglycemia

Immune system dysfunction.

Fighting an Infection.

Malnutrition.

Severe stress (stress that changes the immune response) ...

were some of a main list.

Others:- Malnutrition, Thyroid, Hormone, Iron Deficiency, Dehydration, Lupus, Poor Blood Circulation / Clotting and Other Causes also came up elsewhere.

I don't want to worry you, but some of the things with the symptoms you prevously mentioned, need urgent medical investigation.

Mark  :)

Added: you can even be eating plenty, but still have Malnutrition.

Eating plenty and Loss of weight (going thin) can indicate the body is drawing on its reserves, to try and get vital nutrients.
