I think the two girls lodging with the Champions in 1871 (Rose E Dyer 5 and Ethel Edwards 2) might possibly be the daughters of Hannah Gilroy below in 1881 living at Regents Park St Pancras.   Their mother Hannah was born in Taunton

Hannah Gilroy 38 Taunton, Somerset Married Dressmaker
Rose E. Dyer 15 Daughter b London
Ethel W. Dyer 13 Daughter b London

And in 1851 Hannah was living with her grand mother Ann Champion. This is the link I was looking for I'm sure.
