I think you could be right about James McBlane Snr being the possible father.  I have a DNA match with a Michael McBlane 1956- 2023 predicted as my 4th cousin or half 3rd cousin 1x removed. Michael's father was William James and he was the son of James McBlane born 1894.

Yes I would say that's James McBlane with his father James Mcblane senior

So that would explain how she had another son named James Moore born 1899
