The parishe of Birr in the countie of Camb
« on: Tuesday 26 August 25 21:43 BST (UK) »
I'm transcribing a will made xiiijth day of Aprill 1562 in English that is in Gothic script (D6771/1/8/1 from Derbyshire Record Office) and mentions the testator (John Byrd, relict Agnes) Birr as the residence, confirmed by wanting to be buryed in the churche yarde of Birr aforesaid Itm I geve and bequeth to the mother churche of Elye iiijd.

Please, any idea where Birr might be?
