The only Crow in Inver in Griffiths in 1857 was William who lived in Mountcharles. He had a labourers cottage (plot 5d). Can’t see a death for him 1864 onwards (which is when death registration began) so suspect he died before that.  The only Crow death in that area in the period 1864 to 1901 was Susan Crowe of Mountcharles. Widow. Perhaps she was his widow?

Inver Church of Ireland baptism, marriage and burial records begin in 1805. There’s a copy in PRONI in Belfast (MIC1/159). You can look them up there.

Hi

Thanks to the link for the Death of Susan Crow, I see the Informant was Mary Crow, her daughter.

Hopefully the Birth record for Mary Crow will name BOTH her parents.   Where was she born?

Regards

I wonder if this could be Mary in 1901

Interesting family, Mary and her sister Ann are recorded as the same age, twins, but belong to different churches.
Maybe the parents were a mixed marriage.

Unfortunately Inver RC register doesn’t start early enough

This may be the grand daughter Maggie in 1911. Her parents look to be James Kyle & Sarah Meehan who married in 1898:

Not sure I see how they are related to the Crowe family though.

The 2 Crowe sisters in 1911. Now born in Fermanagh, not Donegal!

On Anne Crowe’s death Sarah Kyle is informant and says she’s Anne’s niece.

On the certificate the Registrar has written Kyles ie with an 's' at the end.
