not seeing any likely Hesbrook entries for that period in Cheltenham, but there is a baptism there 18 Oct 1812 for George Francis Smith son of James & Phoebe

There's a family tree on Ancestry which suggests his parents are Louis Eazebrook and Phoebe. There's no documentary evidence attached to it

There is a Lewis Hesbrook who marries in Cheltenham in 1857, son of another Lewis (both servants). However on censuses he generally claims to have been born in Brompton, Middlesex

I notice one of George's grandsons is called Lewis

However I can find little hard documentary evidence at present - this is all rather speculatory

It’s a friend I’m asking for so I wouldn’t know where to start or look on their behalf. There is no evidence with Louis and phoebe.

only likely marriage is  9 Aug 1824 in St Margaret's, Westminster for John Woolley, bachelor, and Phoebe Hezebrook, widow, both otp, witnesses Robert & Hannah Pebworth.

Later census entries show Phoebe's place of birth as Knightwick, Worcs and John is born in county (Shropshire) in 1841. Long way from home to get married.  :-\

If it's the same Phoebe that was with Lewis, they did travel about. From Frances' baptism Lewis was a gentleman's servant, which is quite a mobile job travelling with the master

Lewis Asbrook
Birth    28 Sep 1814
Baptism    25 Dec 1814 Lee, Kent, England
parents Lewis Asbrook, Phoebe

Frances Elizabeth Esbrook
bap 15 Apr 1818 Christ Church, Southwark:
Lewis, Phebe

I’m wondering if Lewis died in Kent
