I have a William Boswell/Boswel, of Wigston Magna, Leicestershire and a wife Jane.
They baptise children between 1716 and 1732.
William is buried 1768 Wigston Magna and Jane buried 1751 Wigston Magna.
No Boswell's in Wigston Magna prior to daughter Ann baptised in 1716, so they come from another parish.
I have seen one tree state that William is Romany but I don't know where this information is from.
I know there were Romany Boswell's in Leicestershire during the 18th century. I cant find a marriage between William and Jane either.
He is not the William Boswell of Bottesford, Leicestershire. Bapt 1696. This William is buried 1706.
Any help appreciated.
