Someone has Jane Ann [Sherriff] as  marrying under Jane Ann Tait in 1900 to a John Henry Rutter. 1911 census living at Bedlington with two daughters Mary (1906) and Esther (1908). Clashes with the Charltons but intriguing.

So Jane Ann Mackenzie died at some point, and he remarried to Ann Elizabeth (Thompson) in 1890

Two different marriages I think just coincidentally very similar to one another in details

There's a Jane Ann Charlton born 1871 who dies in 1904 Tynemouth district Northumberland age 33 but no knowing if that was her
