Thanks jonwarm, I had seen the transcript, I was hoping the original entry might have more info, i.e that George and Ann were from Chrishall.

Being "of this parish" simply means that's where they were living when the banns were called, or licence granted.

It doesn't mean that's where they were born.

I understand it normally means where they were living but I have seen numerous instances where it states one or other were from another parish, presumably because that's where they were living. I was hoping one or the other would be from another parish just to make it easier for me to rule them in or out.
