Would have been our 65th last week. I certainly was not in a white meringue, white too draining. I wore a  very simple  ivory brocade. Arrived in church and promptly turned round and dived out again, I realised I was wearing old shoes because of the rain and was carrying my wedding shoes inside of my bouquet. It caused quite a stir as congregation thought I had changed my mind. ;D

The sun has come out earlier than forecast here,  I hope it has been the same for Viktoria.

Should be nice for your choir on the sea front GillG.

Well, it turned out to be rather warm on the sea front, more like 22, so I didn't need the extra layer I was wearing!  Lots of holidaymakers - at least the beach wasn't closed like it was last week because of dirty water.  "Dirty Water" is the title of one our favourite songs and we sang it at an event organised recently by Surfers against Sewage.
