I am trying to decipher the following Surname from a marriage certificate. I am stuck.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Rather difficult to work out ending and starting letter  ???
It has a double "d" in it.
Might be Margret Seddon or Sneddon.

There is a Margaret SID(D)AWAY in Ormesby in 1891.  Is there a Y on the end?

I think that looks pretty good Debra, I thought it ended with a "y".

I think that’s probably correct.
 On the snip I posted (reply #5), the word ending is a little clearer, and looks like “way”.
