Cannot read handwriting on Belfast death entry
« on: Thursday 14 August 25 11:41 BST (UK) »
I am trying to read the two street names on this death entry for Thomas Wilkinson, ?? Oct 1870
1) Date and Place of Death
2) Signature, Qualification and Residence of Informant

because of the bad quality of the printout, I can't decipher (1); There doesn't appear to be a Walting Street in Belfast in 1870 (2).

Does anyone with local knowledge have any clues please?

The place of death is 17 Ewart's Row, perhaps the second is supposed to be Walton Street?

12 Walton Street is correct, William was at that address in 1877.  In 1868 Thomas was at 46 Ewart's Row and William was at number 6.

Hello

Going by the shape of the word rather than the specific letters (and the registration being made on the 10th), I'd suggest the date of death is Ninth October 1870.

Best wishes
