Did you know Your William Maychell was on the payroll of the Gillow family in 1835, before setting up his own business in Dameside
and a James Maychell also worked for the Gillows 1827 - 1833

internet online library, I use it often when researching, its just the look of the draw, there is also mention of the Noahs ark pew mentioned, partly subscribed by William Maychell ,  in the Time honoured Lancaster,Historic notes on the ancient Borough of Lancaster  published in 1891
