McKenzie's from Carlisle, Cumberland; originated where?

Hi all:
I have traced my McKenzie line back to approximately 1760 in the Carlisle, Cumberland, ENG area.
I believe they originated in nearby Scotland but I don't have any documentation of such.
Does anyone have McKenzie's who settled in Carlisle with documentation of birth in Scotland?

Maybe you could post the name/s of your ancestors living in Cumberland at that time.
